What is the schools Accreditation?
Howe Military Academy is academically accredited by the State of Indiana and the North Central Association (AdvancEd). We are members of the Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
What happens if my child is sick at school?
Medical care is provided by the school infirmary’s nursing staff. The infirmary is overseen by a local physician.
What is a typical students life like?
Howe uses JROTC guidelines to ensure a rigorous curriculum and strong community, where leadership skills and personal responsibility can develop. Students play sports, participate in activities and work their way through the ranks of the Cadet Corps, taking on greater responsibilities with each step. Cadets attend nondenominational Chapel services twice a week and a full worship service on Sundays. Howe is a Christian School, but admits students of all faiths.
