Howe Military Academy Parents’ Association

The Parents’ Association is an organization similar to the public school’s PTA.  All members are eligible to serve on the Parents’ Association Executive Board. Your dues help support the mailings, projects, special events and gifts sponsored by the Association.

We focus on two primary agendas: (1) Facilitating Communication and (2) Improving the Welfare of Cadets.

Facilitating Communication with Howe Military Families

First, we act to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas between the school and the families.  All meetings are held on special weekends when families are typically on campus.  These meetings are an important way to promote communication.

Improving the Welfare of the Cadet Corps

The second part of the Parents’ Association agenda deals directly with improving the welfare of the cadet corps through fundraisers and event sponsorship.

Annual Wish List

A “Wish List” is compiled every year to communicate the needs and wishes of faculty, students, and staff to improve the quality of all aspects of campus life.  If you have access to items on the Wish List that you would like to donate, please contact the Development Office at (260) 562-2131 Ext. 227 or via email at development@howemilitary.org.

Parents’ Association Sponsored Events

Each year the Association sponsors Parents’ Weekend, including the Military Ball. The Parents’ Association also plans and hosts the annual Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day and the annual Senior Banquet.
